About Fighting Mad –
Laid off from her job at the bank, Carla turns to her friends for support only to find they’re more concerned about their jobs. The one person she can count on is local bartender Murphy, but what kind of example is he for her daughters? Having learned the hard way, Carla’s not depending on any man, even if he is cute, charming, very kind, and some kind of leprechaun?
Murphy is used to sneers. Clurichauns are the redheaded stepchildren of the leprechaun world and then there are the late night throw downs at his bar. What he wants, however, is to protect the dainty, little mom who ogles him when she thinks no one’s looking. He knows she’s fighting overwhelming odds, but she’ll need more than bravery when the conflict between the King and Queen of the Fairies becomes outright civil war!

My favorite has always been Aesop. It is very refreshing.
My favorite fairy tale is Cinderella. The rags to riches story appealed to me. But of course, her dress was what won me over!!! LOL

Hi Kathy. I am new to you and your books thanks to this hop. I am really excited to have found Fighting Mad. It sounds really, really good. And yes, I read romances because of the Happy Ever Afters. I love the ones that have a hard road to travel to get there.

I really love the blurb to Fighting Mad , what a very unique premise at least for me. Is it stand alone?
As for my favorite I am a sucker for all Happily Ever After endings.
You can read Fighting Mad on its own, but it does build on events that happened in Restless Spirits. That book is a retelling of Tam Linn, a Scottish fairy tale.
And like you, all my stories have a Happily Ever After! 🙂

My favorite is Beauty and the Beast. I cry every time the beast dies.
I always loved tales actually about faeries, faerie circles, and the like.

I liked Cinderella, the version I had (still have) had three balls and beautiful pictures – paintings really.
I’ve always like East of the Sun West of the Moon. I’m not sure why though. It just sticks in my mind as a fun one. Perhaps I should say Kaguya Hime – at least its not a traditional western fairy tale! Its a little sad though – or maybe just a little bittersweet.
There are loads of wonderful stories if you look beyond traditional Western tales. What’s funny is how many of them have the same message. We tell ourselves the same stories to make sense of the world!

I have always loved BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Has to be finding the inner beauty of another.
