Congratulations ladies! and thank you, everybody, for participating.
Be sure to stop back for the Lucky Is Reading Giveaway Blog Hop, March 7 – 21st!
Your 1st book, like your 1st love, holds a special place in your heart. It’s been 2 years since I first told the world the truth about leprechauns in Feeling Lucky. Many doubted, but others believed – the latest being EPIC who named it a 2015 eBook Awards Finalist!
So to celebrate, and because Valentine’s, St. Patty’s, & Tax Day are coming, I’m giving away my favorite Leprechaun Love Story!
About Feeling Lucky –
Leprechuans are not twee beings dreamed up by the tourist board, but warriors of legend. The story’s because they like a good joke and what better way to hide the gold? Oh that bit’s true, as is the part about not sharing!
Megan O’Malley gave in to drunken temptation and pinched a cute guy’s ass at her cousin’s wedding. Who’d have thought a perfectly normal guy—okay, a bit short—was a leprechaun or that he’d have such a bad attitude about giving away his money?! Now that she’s captured him, Megan may be five million dollars richer, but she’s also got an angry leprechaun camped out on her sofa, doing his best to prevent her from becoming the business mogul of her dreams!

Little Red Riding Hood is pretty interesting, how it’s been rewritten so many times. I even heard of a version where the wolf is good.
I enjoyed the fairytale about the twelve dancing princesses. I’ve read a few twists on the story and they were all pretty good.
I’m not sure if it really counts as a fairy tale, but my favorite’s probably Peter Pan. When I was a kid, I watched it on VHS so many times that the tape was ruined… And I’d jump around on our landing saying, “I can fly!”
Unless you’re a pilot for United, being able to fly is a pretty good sign of a fairy tale! Thanks for sharing!
Hahahahaha, okay, fair enough. Tink thanks you 🙂 I guess it just doesn’t hit me like Hansel and Gretel or Little Red Riding Hood. My parents still have the VHS tape despite the damage. You can watch for a bit before it cuts off. I have a feeling my dad thinks it’ll be funny to keep around and show any boyfriends I bring home 🙂 Too bad I lacked the fairy dust back then to actually fly off to Neverland, or at least somewhere pretty like Lake Tahoe!
My favorite fairytale is the Princess and the Pea.
As I’ve gotten older, the story has meant more.
I’m intrigued! There’s a message in there about realizing your inner princess despite outward appearances. Is that what appeals to you?
Oh wow, I have just found a new book that I must, must read. Congrats on your award. Oh and Beauty and the Beast is my favorite. I like it because Belle does not back down from her growly Beast….LOL
Growly beasts are a plus! You’ll have to let me know how you feel about grumpy leprechauns 🙂
Congratulations on your awards for Feeling Lucky! It sounds like a wonderful story. My favorite fairy tale is Cinderella. I loved the music in the Disney version and love happy ever after endings.
Thank you! I’m very pleased with the recognition – kinda my own, little fairy tale ending! 🙂
Cinderella
Every time I see that name, I can hear the mice singing. My brothers loved that movie for the cat and the mice. Great choice!
I really love the version of Sleeping Beauty in the movie Maleficent because it focuses on motherly love instead of the usual romance.
Oh, nice twist!
I like dragons, probably partially because I’m half-Chinese.
An excellent reason! Did you read where they just discovered what might be the ancestor of dragons? http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/dragon-dinosaur-fossil-massive-neck-discovered-china/story?id=28609366
Beauty and the Beast. Like… always and forever ❤
It’s the library! 😉
Cinderella for the singing
Tauriel from The Hobbit is my favorite Wood-elf of all time!
A modern-day classic fairy tale!
I would say Cinderella I like a happy ending.
We’ve got several Cinderella fans here today. Go shoes!
Probably Hansel and Gretal – It is just so twisted!
Twisted is good! 🙂
The beast from BEAUTY AND THE BEAST has always appealed. I like that he has to redeem himself.
And he has that cool library! 🙂
