Restless Spirits went live on Amazon on June 18! That was wonderfully exciting, but now comes the really tough part, pitching to reviewers, explaining the book and why they want it.
Why is this so difficult? In a 90,000 word romance novel, there’s a lot of ground to cover. Writing synopsis and blurbs makes writers absolutely crazy! Really, you want a sound bite that covers all 250 pages?!
Candida Martinelli (a brilliant reviewer if you write about or in Italy BTW), made a book trailer that highlighted the romance. I love her take on the story!
That fabulous song is In His Name by Crista Couture.
The book trailer my brothers made as a pre-launch teaser focused on the supernatural, particularly the baseballs.
Both videos are 100% accurate, and yet already I’m becoming known for the customer service scenes in Restless Spirits. One friend laughed till she cried and told me, “I could totally hear you screaming.” So much for bravely baring my soul in self-sacrificing honesty.
Given all that’s included, how do you answer when someone asks “what’s your story about?”
Hi Kathy, Love both trailers! Congrats on the release of Restless Spirits. 🙂
